In terms of story, however, the main quests associated with TOTK's Geoglyphs can also be important to complete. Additionally, completing the main quests in the Depths is a necessary step for getting Robbie to upgrade the Purah Pad in the Hateno Ancient Tech Lab, which can let players get access to useful features such as the sensor and Travel Medallions. Both quests are accessed through the Hyrule Field Chasm, a short distance south of Lookout Landing, and, after Autobuild has been acquired, the quests don't chain into any other main questlines, leaving players free to pursue other quests. Following the questline further also gives players access to an important early game feature in Tears of the Kingdom, Autobuild, while also introducing the optional sidequest Master Kohga of the Yiga Clan.Įven aside from gameplay benefits, however, the Depths main quests are recommended because they're both easily accessible and relatively short. The first quest, for example, introduces the use of the game's camera, alongside essential mechanics for exploring the Depths such as throwing Brightbloom seeds and finding Lightroots. While some players might be eager to go after other objectives, the main quests associated with the Depths serve as a good introduction to the lowest part of Tears of the Kingdom's world, while also giving access to a few key gameplay mechanics. ![]()
